The old lamp posts will not be returning to the fountain after improvement works due to road safety reasons as confirmed by WDC Regeneration
Alexandria CC have been successful in our bid through public vote for our application for £4,500 to install new notice boards in the town centre.
Yesterday evening was Alexandria CC’s first meeting since West Dunbartonshire Council announced its budget for year 2024/25 on Wednesday 6th March 2024.

As part of The Scottish Library & Information Council’s Climate Engagement Funded #ShelfLife campaign, we had an inspiring visit at Alexandria library from gardening and food writer Helen Cross.
S5 and S6 students enjoyed a site visit with Senior Phase Officer Elaine Roberts to Aggreko.
Pupils and families at Christie Park Primary have taken part in a sponsored slosh for school funds raising hundreds of pounds in the process.
